Quite a lot of your competitors including you are promoting the exact same program. Here are some tips that you may think about in order for you to stay in this business and have the chance to outwit and outplay other competitors of yours.

Have your own website. It is fundamental for you to have your own website. Potential customers primarily go to websites in order for them to search and sometimes purchase items they were looking for. It is much easier to remember than a certain URL that you may be using and you can just point your visitors to the affiliate page in your website.

Many people ask me how I make money with affiliate marketing and I am always eager to share what has worked for me. I had already had some experience online so I wasn’t totally ignorant as to how this all works although I had never ventured into affiliate marketing before. I knew that you could head over to Clickbank and pick out a product but I had no idea how to choose a good one.

I quickly learned what to look for when choosing a product. I wanted to make sure that my commissions would be at least $25 if not more, I wanted to see how much competition I had selling the same product and if the affiliate program has great tools that were already in place so that I didn’t have to do a lot of the grunt work like finding the best keywords.

From there I got online and started searching for courses that would help me learn how to successfully promote products so that I could see some income come in rather quickly from my efforts. Since I already knew the basics of affiliate marketing, I chose One Week Marketing by Jennifer Ledbetter. She basically walks you through exactly what to do each day of the week and all you do is repeat that each week to continue to get better results. The only downfall I see with that product right now is that you have to be sure and choose a product to promote that Squidoo will accept since they have changed their policies and procedures and won’t allow you to promote certain affiliate products through Squidoo lens now.

One Week Marketing is the first course I purchased and responsible for my first two sales within my very first week in the affiliate marketing industry. From applying what I learned in this course, I was able to make $500 within my first three months.

This course was created by Jennifer Ledbetter who goes by the nickname, Pot Pie Girl. She is a housewife and mother who announced to her husband one day that she was going to start making money online. Like many that start out in this industry, she didn’t have a clue what to do.

After doing plenty of research and learning the different methods available, she chose to try her hand at affiliate marketing.
